Full-time employment opportunity for a skilled field service technician experienced with beverage equipment maintenance, fountain repair, and installation. Position is responsible for repair and ongoing maintenance of vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment at customer accounts. Position works independently and has frequent customer contact. Great communicational skills are essential.

Requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, and bending when making repairs, often in low places. May require lifting, carrying, pulling and/or moving between 20 and 45 pounds over workday.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment.

• Establish positive communication with contacts at service calls.

• Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, and refrigeration)

• Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information.

• Maintain parts inventory on service truck.

• After each call, complete documentation on daily activity form.

• Transport miscellaneous items (e.g., compressors for repair, Co2 tanks, refrigerant, etc.)

• Adjust Co2 pressures and syrup ratios to proper amounts.

• Relay problematic service issue details to other team members when seeking guidance/assistance.

• Educate customers on their cleaning and upkeep procedure responsibilities.

• Work in rotation on weekends, stand-by position during the week and over time when service issues warrant obligation.

• Maintain an organized work area and punctuality with paperwork.

• Clean appearance and well spoken.

• Follow all safety requirements, regulations, and processes.

• Follow all driving rules and regulations when operating company vehicle.

• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older

• Valid driver’s license

• High School diploma or GED

Required EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have experience in fountain repair and installation.

• Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests, etc.)

• Working with basic refrigeration systems (e.g., understanding refrigeration cycle, Freon, compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.)

• Working with electrical systems (e.g., understanding flow, wiring, outlets, etc.)

• Working with plumbing (e.g., working with drains, water supply, ice makers, shut-off valves, sweating copper, filtration systems, etc.)

• Equipment installation (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, auto, fountain products, etc.)

• Preferred:

HVAC/R License.

Beverage Equipment Experience.

Plumbing Installation Experience.
